I learned about the program last week at a conference I attended.
It’s mission, “To heighten the awareness of Pennsylvania’s youth about their future role in the American free enterprise system by delivering high-quality and practical hands-on leaning experiences.”
During a week long program students from all across the state are formed into “company groups” and assigned a mentor from the business community. During this week, they form and operate a company in simulated exercises. There are five sessions this summer, four at Lycoming College and one at The Pennsylvania College of Technology.
