How do we meet and exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers? The first step is defining the requirements. This can be as simple as assembling the requirements on index cards as shown below.

There are numerous methods of collecting customer feedback and requirements, some of which are surveys, focus groups, etc.

Hint-If at all possible add actual observation of people using your product. What people do and what they say is not always the same.
